Josh Apter, Manhattan Edit Workshop

Josh Apter is at NAB 2012 to spread the word about his post-production and digital production training.  But what’s really stolen the show is a new camera accessory called the Padcaster which turns an iPad into a production grade camera that you can hang accessories from. Weird, but true.

I typically wait a lttlie while too. I just noticed it pop up, and need to even check out what functionality is in it. Once I’ve given it a week or so to work out some initial bugs, then I usually base my urgency to make the upgrade on two other factors (1) whether I need bug fixes (which is rarely the case) (2) if there is some killer functionality that I want to implementBut things are running smooth on the current version for me, so I likely won’t do anything for a few weeks unless I discover that there is something AMAZING about 3.0
